PACE 14 THE MADISON COUNTY RECORD, HUNTSV1LLE, ARKANSAS THURSDAY, MAY 7, 1981 Play Presented At Meadowview OBITUARIES DRIPPING SPRINGS MRS. MART LEDBETTER Announces Itesignation Howard Bolinger has announced his resignation aa caretaker of Whorton Creek Cemetery. He expressed his appreciation to everyone for their cooperation. If you are interested in taking over this job, call Ethel Easterling at 665-2899. course and a beginning Astronomy course.

She is working on a class paper which deals with the return of Halley's Comet, an event which is due to occur in 19K6. Buffy 's father, Charles, 40, teaches Astronomy at the university. He and Buffy are trying to learn how to live together, not only as father and daughter, but also as friends. They meet Beverly Bronson, 40, a divorcee, and her son, Brewster, 17. The parents and the children help each other to adjust to their new lives since divorce." We wish to extend the utmost appreciation to Pamela Webster (Beverly Bronson), Stacy Brower (Buffy), Quentin Harrison (Brewster and David Black (Charles), for their time and interest in presenting this play to our residents.

A special thank you also goes to Vickie Hilliard from the Department of Drama for making the arrangements for them to come. Please come back any time, young people! We are enjoying the "parade" of spring-summer creatures on our doors for May-turtles, frogsand butterflies and the gardening fever was spurned on by the colorful sprinkling cans and trowels. Our thanks to Lynett Perham and the Crosier girls for all their work on these decorations. Special thanks to Collet-te Bates for all her work on our May bulletin board boys and girls. They are all beautiful, Collette! We've shared a very interesting and busy week at Meadowview Lodge.

Monday afternoon, we enjoyed music and a story hour. We read three very interesting articles and a lively discussion followed with a good number of the residents participating and recalling events in their lives that were humorous, pleasant, happy times. Tuesday morning, we had our April birthday party. Special thanks to the Huntsville Flower Shop for the lovely flowers for our guests. The ladies prepared pretty cupcakes and we appreciate their time and talents and their love for our residents in coming so faithfully each month.

April birthdays were: Dialpha Cas-teel 91. April 15; Nathan Haag, 88, April 30; and Frank Dillahunty, 90, April 28. Wednesday, the Boston Group was here for Church Services. They always bring such joyous music that our hearts are warmed. Their friendliness is always a bright spot in our day.

Thursday afternoon, Pastor Charles Snow shared his talents with us in music and song. We are going to miss him greatly over the next few weeks as he has received word that his mother is very ill and he will be going to stay with her. Our prayers are with you. Pastor Snow, and with your mother. Friday afternoon, we had a very special treat.
